JoAnn has extensive experience with the preparation of new patent applications and the accompanying government documents. She prepares and files amendments and appeal documents for the firm. JoAnn also maintains the manual docketing system, ensuring deadlines are met. JoAnn started her career with the Zarley Law Firm in February 1989 as a legal assistant to Don Zarley. She enjoys the detail of this position, keeping everything organized for a smooth running office. JoAnn also monitors the USPTO website for updates regarding patent and trademark information and corresponds with clients regarding the maintenance of their intellectual property. JoAnn enjoys talking with clients and helping them understand their applications. She also appreciates how the staff works as a team to get the job done. In her free time, JoAnn enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, reading, cooking, sewing and scrapbooking. |
