Katie serves as our front desk coordinator and receptionist. She handles numerous tasks each day, from answering incoming telephone calls and directing clients to the appropriate source of information to updating and organizing client files with the most recent information. Katie also lends assistance to the firm's entire team of professionals.

Katie, a native of Central Iowa, joined the Zarley Law Firm in 2008 while finishing course requirements for her paralegal degree from Des Moines Area Community College's ABA approved program. She had previously earned her B.S. degree in English from Iowa State University.

Katie enjoys the diversity of the projects she is involved with in her position. She also looks forward to taking on additional responsibilities as she continues to learn about the intellectual property field of law. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling and shopping.
