William R. Tinker
wtinker@zarleylaw.com
Will prosecutes patent and trademark applications, specializing in mechanical patents that have included hydraulic devices and transmission systems. He is experienced in domestic as well as international prosecution in regions such as Asia, Europe and South America. Will assists clients with a variety of intellectual property litigation concerns as well.
Will's family background is the foundation of his interest in intellectual property law. His grandfather, an inventor and past client of Don Zarley, instilled a curiosity in new inventions. His father, a fellow attorney, introduced an interest in the law. These aspects, coupled with a strong engineering background earned as a logistical systems engineer, have led Will to his current position.
Will's desire is to offer clients the ability to protect their intellectual property while ensuring that their rights and best interests are enforced. During his downtime, he spends time with family in Southwest Iowa. Will has also enjoyed mentoring at-risk youth through the Youth for Christ organization.
